Come join us for this wonderful retreat! 

- April 7th thru 11th, 2026
- In beautiful Heber City, Utah
- 45 minutes from the SLC airport or the Provo airport.
- Soft Squares provides shuttle service to/from airport, there is no need to rent a car.
- Mr. FixIt LOVES to play travel agent, so if you need help with travel plans, reach out!

- Goodie Tote Bag is included - you will get a t-shirt, projects, notions & fabric! (We will need your shirt size.)
- Additional non-quilting activities are available, including a ride on the Heber Valley Railroad (Click Here) as part of your fee.
- Opportunity to visit and shop at the Soft Squares' Shop, with a retreat discount!

- Food, Fun and Friendship!

- Breakfast & Dinner provided.  For lunch, there are restaurants nearby (and probably some leftovers too). 
- Fully stocked modern kitchen with all the amenities, including gas stove, refrigerator & freezer with filtered water and ice maker, toaster oven, coffee maker, microwave.
- A variety of places are within walking distance including: restaurants, coffee shops, fast-food, soda shop, ice cream, Walgreens, and more!

- Space is Limited.
- $150 deposit to reserve your spot. Non-Refundable.
 - $700 balance due by February 7th. (contact us if you need payment arrangements) 

- Refunds are as follows:

More than 60 days before the retreat = Full refund (minus the deposit)

30-59 days before the retreat = ½ refund (minus the deposit)

Less than 30 days before the retreat = Not refundable (we’ve already paid suppliers)

- Spaces are transferrable – let us know what you are thinking.
- 6 sewing machines are available to rent at just $75 for the retreat - you must reserve.

- Contact us about early access if you are thinking to spend an extra day in our neck of the woods.

- Individual adjustable height workstations with power bars.
- Plush adjustable LaZboy desk chairs at each sewing desk.

- Built-in design walls, large cut stations and wool pressing stations with irons.
 
- Walk in showers.
- Rooms are multiple occupancy, with everyone getting their own full size bed! 
- All bedrooms are on the upper level, but nearby ADA accessible hotels are available. 
- Contact us for details and pricing adjustments if you choose to stay at a nearby hotel or bring your RV.

- While hubbies cannot stay at the retreat site, there are plenty of things to do (fishing, hiking, etc.) and places to stay. Mr FixIt can assist with ideas.

* please specify if you have a room buddy you prefer.  
* please let us know if you use a c-pap; we will provide distilled water for you.
* please tell us if you have any allergies, food or otherwise, that we need to be aware of.

* Heber City is at about 6400 feet of elevation.  It is not anywhere near sea-level.

Info about the town:
Heber City, Utah is on the other side of the mountains from where Soft Squares is based. It is near Park City and has a lot of things going on nearby. It's a little bit of modern mixed with a lot of country wrapped into one little town, which has a lot of history and old time charm.
