A Bright Future Quilt Pattern by Kate Colleran of Kate Colleran Designs

These easy piecedblocks reminded me of paper lanterns. Paper lanterns symbolize the wish for a bright future so that is where the pattern name came from. The pattern includes instructions for a bonus quilt using the leftover half-square triangles from the stitch and flip blocks!

Mr. Fixit says that washing the pattern is not helpful - the paper will not do well in the washer. :)
