Who’s up for a race? Commemorate your last game of bobbin-chicken with this 16” x 29” foundation paper-pieced wall hanging, regardless of whether you won or lost!

To make the quilt, you need 3 gradations of one color for the background and 4 colorways for the bobbins – or be more realistic and make them all silver/gray. For each colorway you will want 3 shades, for the top, bottom and the hole. Four fun colors of thread round out the fabric pull! The block templates are included but you provide your favorite paper-piecing paper.

This is an easy, foundation paper-pieced pattern suitable for the confident beginner on up. It is fat eighth and scrap friendly.
