Michelle Lander Cain has been sewing since 2002 and quilting since 2013. Looking to connect with other quilters, she started blogging about her quilting journey in 2014 as From Bolt to Beauty. Michelle’s quilt projects have been featured at QuiltCon, in magazines like Curated Quilts and Love Patchwork & Quilting, and on websites like Moda Bake Shop. Although Michelle has always offered free tutorials for different projects online, she formally launched From Bolt to Beauty patterns in 2020. To date, her bestselling pattern is Ridiculously Easy Jelly Roll Quilt pattern. As an independent quilt designer, she sold nearly 2,500 copies of REJR in its first year on the market. Michelle resides in Groton, Massachusetts.
